Privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how BookTours.ca handles personal information. We follow the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request or contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, optional phone number, tour of interest, preferred date, number of travellers, pick-up area and any message. We also record the page the form was sent from.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to respond to your request, prepare and send a quote, arrange a tour you choose to confirm, and keep a record of our communications. We do not sell your information and do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who processes it
Form submissions are received by Google Apps Script, stored in a private Google Sheet and sent to us by email through Google’s services. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States. If your request is for a specific tour, we may share the details needed to arrange it (for example your name, date and group size) with the tour operator providing it.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Retention
We keep quote and contact records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@booktours.ca. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
